    Mordryd's Freeform
Before Mordryd's egg had hatched, it had been given to the Order of the Hollowing Winds, a sect of warrior monks who lived by a vow of pacifism, and trained in combat as a means of meditation and understanding. Their belief system condemns all violence against living things, for any reason, include self defense, so the sect protects itself via isolation, their sanctum being hidden deep underground behind a labyrinth that completely encompasses it.

What makes it even more difficult to assault, is a mystical artifact, a strange orb that generates a powerful gust of wind that pushes through the entire labyrinth, forcing out any would-be intruders. This orb is said to have been gifted to them by an AncientKazemon who desired to foster a community that strove on peace, that might one day spread it's influence across the entire digital world. This AncientKazemon is worshipped by the members of the sect as a goddess, and it is a statue of her the holds the orb at the entrance to the sanctum.

The orb is not in indefinite effect however, nor does the sect have any real control over it. Every once in a while, this orb simply stops generating the gale, making the labyrinth accessible, and the sect vulnerable. The vast majority of the sect are forbidden from leaving even when the artifact is disabled. Only a select few specially trained scouts even know the way through the labrynth, and leave only to make the pilgrimage to primary village where they will take in new eggs to foster into the sect, or escort out exiled members who don't conform to their laws.

Mordryd grew up accepting the sect's teachings, and living by their ways. He'd had a mischievous but benign sense of humor back then, and an outgoing personality that made him friendly with everyone in the sect. They were family, and he was loyal to them, and assumed they shared that same loyalty. He'd never really considered the ultimate implications that came with their vow of pacifism, the sect had always been safe. There was never a need to fight and he had figured that was their means of abiding by their vows.

It was only a matter of time, however. One could never truly remain secret, and the more secretive something was, the more wild and tempting were the rumors that flew around about it. Tales of riches and objects of untold power spread across the digital world. These rumors were largely false, but that didn't stop the unsavory from setting their sights on the pacifist's sanctum, and eventually. Eventually, a brigade of vicious bandits would find their way through the labyrinth while the orb was down, and from there, it was a massacre.

Though the bandits fought with such ferocity and maliciousness that Mordryd had never encountered in his life, that wasn't what horrified him the most about the attack. What struck him most, was the actions of his brothers and sisters -- or lack thereof. While the bandits callously assaulted the sanctum, killing for nothing but sheer pleasure and hatred, the members of the sect merely kneeled down, and prayed as they waited for the end, for better or worse.

Mordryd had never felt more disgusted, or outraged. He knew that the sect could have easily fought off these bandits if they tried, but all they were willing to do was pray and plead with their attackers as they were killed off at the bandit's leisure. They were unwilling to break their vows, but Mordryd in that moment, paid them no heed, and would lunge at the bandit's leader, a Musyamon. If it wasn't enough that they wouldn't fight for themselves or each other, the gasps of horror from his brothers, not for how badly he was beaten, but for him daring to fight at all, had brought forth a deep hatred within the Strabimon.

The rest of the sect would be slaughtered, but being impressed by Mordryd's willpower, Musyamon instead would assimilate him into his clan. Mordryd by that point, offered no resistance to this. After the betrayal he had felt by the hands of his pacifist bretheren, he lost all sense of compassion, and truly felt that those who refused to fight for their lives didn't deserve to live at all.

Several years would past as Mordryd lived the bandit life, going from place to place, raiding and pillaging villages, and burning all who refused to submit to them to the ground. The bandits were about their own gains and ensuring their enemies feared their might. There was no such thing as mercy.

It was on one raid, that they had intercepted and derailed a trailmon carrying a combination of passengers and shipments. They'd succeed in fending on the few would-be heroes who tried to protect the train's passengers. A brave Yasyamon would attempt to bring down Musyamon himself, but the bandit leader would cut him down just the same, only to be assaulted by a very furious and distraught Tokomon X.

Much like he had with Mordryd, he saw the young digimon's potential and would take her into the clan to be assimilated into their ranks. This one was a lot more resistant, and for a long time was kept prisoner when Musyamon didn't have her out working on breaking her. The bandits in the meantime would take turns guarding over the prisoner.

Mordryd didn't think much of her at first, and had been as much of a bully to her as the rest of the bandits were. He didn't think it was going to take all that much for the Tokomon to realize it's fate, but many weeks past, and the prisoner proved to be much more stubborn than anyone had anticipated.

Over that time, Mordryd would find himself less and less inclined to rile the Tokomon up. He first figured it was just getting boring, but he'd eventually come to realize he was feeling something he had thought he was no longer capable of feeling -- pity. He supposed it was her spirit. She kept on fighting even though her situation was completely hopeless.

Mordryd would shift from quietly guarding her, to attempting to extend some sort of friendship by chatting her up. She wasn't very receptive at first, obviously. She had no reason to trust him. As the Tokomon was worn down by Musyamon's training and her prolonged imprisonment however, she'd eventually begin to open up to him, more out of desperation than anything else.

The two would form a friendship, albeit an uneasy one that would take time to truly cement. Tokomon would finally submit to Musyamon and join the clan's ranks, and not long after she would digivolve to her rookie form, Tsukaimon. From there, Mordryd and her would work along side each other, fighting for the clan, but their loyalties bound more so to each other.

The friendship Mordryd now had with Tsukaimon, would have a profound effect on the Strabimon. Though hatred and disgust had fueled him on his path as a vicious bandit, the Tsukaimon had cracked open his hardened heart, and the closer he became to her, the less he wanted to continue with this way of life.

One could not simply just walk away however, but the two would conspire together to overthow Musyamon. It would take months of planning, carefully picking allies both from within the clan and from outside, and arranging for some of Musyamon's stronger and more loyal followers to meet, well, some unfortunate accidents.

As they bided their time, they continued to train themselves and stronger. Once it came to finally taking down Musyamon, Mordryd had achieved his champion form of Sangloupmon. They had given all their efforts to planning this mutiny, and when all was said and done they were justly rewarded with victory. Musyamon was no more.

Mordryd and Tsukaimon would take command of the clan from there, and Mordryd had believed that this was to be a fresh start, that things were supposed to change. Tsukaimon though, just reorganized their ranks and began planning more raids, planning on hitting a couple of villages so she could re-establish the clan's reputation with it's new leaders.

As Mordryd had emerged from the darkness that he had been trapped in for so many years, he'd failed to realize that Tsukaimon had merely been falling deeper into it. She'd grown paranoid, distrustful, and sought nothing more than to attain the power she needed so she'd never be enslaved as she had been to Musyamon.

Up to now, Mordryd had merely been calming down. He now realized just how badly Tsukaimon had been affected by the bandit clan. She'd played nice, but only because she likely knew she could use him to plan her escape. He was no longer sure he ever really knew her, but seeing what she had become had put the full weight of his actions on his shoulders.

For the first time since being dragged from his home, Mordryd felt ashamed of himself. He felt regret. He felt... stupid. Everything he did, every digimon he had killed in cold blood, he knew he couldn't take any of it back. All he could do now, was face Tsukaimon, implore her to disband the clan and take the chance she had to live in peace.

Tsukaimon did not take Mordryd's attempts to placate her well, and took him for traitor. Mordryd would desperately try to convince her he only wanted a better life for her, she simply ordered the clan to kill him. Uncertain, the bandits would hesitate and in her fury, Tsukaimon would digivolve to Nefertimon and attempt to kill him herself, as the world around them was twisted and warped by a labyrnth event.

Mordryd didn't want to hurt her, but it was clear that she was too far gone by now. He could just retreat and hope that she would come to her senses on her own, but what then? He thought would be crushed by the weight of his own transgressions, and once she opened her own eyes and saw herself... Mordryd didn't want that to happen to her. He loved her too much to let her suffer any longer.

With the heaviest of hearts, Mordyrd would deliver the killing blow to Nefertimon, sending her data off to be reborn in primary village, taking solace in the hope that she'll be reborn with out recollection of the horrors of her previous lifetime.

Once it was done, the Labyrinth event had ended without him even realizing something had happened, though the bandits that had spoke of weird buildings and strange two legged beings that ran around in a panic around them. Mordryd however simply figured that Nefertimon had created some sort of illusion.

From there on, Mordryd remained the leader of the bandit clan, though they no longer lived as bandits. They instead took to traveling the digital world, seeking out those in need of help in order to carve out their path to redemption. Mordryd doesn't define himself as good or trying to be, and in general he's pretty open minded when it comes to hearing out those who've also lead shitty lives they've grown ashamed of and though it leaves him open to backstabbers he's still willing to give them a chance and welcome them into the fold.

Mordryd nowadays, maintains a smugly confident air, and is generally unflappable in the face of criticism. He knows he's beyond forgiveness to many of the digimon he's wronged, and he accepts it. He'll sit and let anyone rant their head off, and if they decide to pick a fight he'll still defend himself until they are worn down, but he sees no point to begging forgiveness from those who obviously aren't forgiving, and doesn't think much of so called heroes who just want to strike down a 'mon because all they can see is evil.

    Trivia
    • Mordryd habitually refers to others by whatever nickname comes to his mind, and doesn't seem to do well with remembering real names.
    • Mordryd is mildly sedatephobic, fear of silence, due to growing up in the sanctum where the sound of rushing wind could be always be heard, apart from when they were vulnerable.

    Nimueh's Freeform
In a life forgotten, Nimueh begun under the care of a kind, and noble Yasyamon, whom served as a father figure and protector to the young digimon. Together, they lived a nomadic life, traveling from place to place, exploring the far reaches of file island and expanding their horizons and helping those in need where ever they went.

This life, like any other, wasn't free of hardship, but Yasyamon was a skilled fighter, and a fierce, devoted protector of the little Tokomon X under his wing. Any digimon that dared threaten her or any innocent digimon harm, the Yasyamon would make them regret the very thought. Until, one fateful day.

They'd been riding a trailmon across the Gear Savannah, when was derailed and suddenly invaded by bandits. Yasyamon would spring into action, fighting off a few bandits that wandered into their car, before going up against the leader -- Vugarth, the Musyamon. He'd put up a valiant fight, but in the end the brutal bandit lord had proven stronger and ended his life.

Nimueh in her anger and despair for her fallen father, would rush the Musyamon herself and attempt to avenge Yasyamon. Vugarth beat her down easily, but being one to value such tenacity, the Musyamon spared her life, and took her prisoner so he could assimilate her into his clan.

The Tokomon X was far from easy to turn however, and thus spend many of the following weeks tied up and locked in a cage, when Vugarth wasn't working on breaking her. While caged, she always had at least one if not more guards standing guard over her at any given time. They'd tease her and put her down. They'd laugh if she even tried to retaliate. It was the beginning of what seemingly was going to be a long life of misery.

But then, there was this Strabimon. At first he wasn't really different from the others. He bullied her just the same as the others did. Unlike the rest, he seemed to just give up after a while, and eventually began attempting to be friendly. Nimueh wouldn't respond at first, but over time, loneliness ate away at her, and so, she steadily opened up to the one bandit who actually tried to be her friend.

Nimueh didn't know how much of Mordryd's story she believed at first, but she'd eventually learn to trust him. He said he had been much like her, a digimon ripped from his life and assimilated into the bandit clan. He wanted out, and so did she. Though her stubbornness would eventually reach it's breaking point and she'd vow her allegiance and fealty to Lord Vugarth in exchange for freedom, together with Mordryd, she plotted to overthrow their leader and escape this life once and for all.

It took months of preparation and carefully picking out like-minded allies from both within and outside the clan, while also training themselves and building up their strength for what was to come. Nimueh would digivolve to Tsukaimon, and she would prove to be an adept and vicious fighter. As time wore on though, this life still took it's toll on the young digimon. Fear still crept into her mind, making her question everything, and every one. She struggled to maintain trust and faith, but power, to protect herself from all those around her, steadily became more and more of a desperate need.

The day would come. Many of the strongest loyalists will have already been covertly removed by this point, and when they staged their final assault, not even the fierce and powerful Vugarth could stand up to their might. The Musyamon would die, and then in the aftermath, Nimueh would take her claim to his throne, with Mordryd at her side, though she failed to pick up on the confusion and concern when she reorganized their ranks and set up new assaults and raids.

Nimueh's feelings for Mordryd, had always been a bit mixed, and nothing she could ever be totally certain about. At times, she felt love and affection for the wolf who'd reached out to her in her time of need. Other times, the doubt would creep in, and she'd still see the wolf who'd rushed onto that downed trailmon and assaulted the passengers while his leader slayed her father. The one who tormented her during the early stages of her imprisonment.

No matter how much she wanted to believe that she could trust Mordryd, Nimueh couldn't stop questioning if the wolf had really changed. She thought Musyamon's death would bring her peace and comfort, but she couldn't get the thought out of her head that one day the wolf was going to turn on her and take away everything she'd fought for. When Mordryd attempted to confront her about what they were doing and implored her to disband and begin a peaceful life, the paranoia won over and she ordered the clan to kill the traitor.

The clan would hesitate on this command, and so Tsukaimon would digivolve to Nefertimon X and fight Mordryd herself. It was in this moment, that the world around them had broken up and become distorted, a phenomenon that others would come to know as a Labyrinth event. Neither the Nefertimon nor Sangloupmon would notice while in the heat of battle, focusing on nothing but each other as they fought for their lives.

In the end, Mordryd would deliver the final blow that would mark the end of this particular life. Her data would fly into the wind, returning to primary village where it would reformat into a digi-egg, with the addition of a tag and crest that would mysteriously appear wrapped around it like it already belonged to her.

When she hatched, she had no memory of what had happened in her previous life, though her name was still familiar to her, and she'd experience vague and terrifying nightmares that hinted at something sinister in her past. The crest she had, became a bit of a mystery and curiosity. By then, the objects were well associated with the humans that had been appearing, and even among the young digimon, there was some dissent that would lead a few to bully her for it.

Nimueh still had friends who'd come to her rescue, and for the most part, she only wondered what the object meant and didn't worry so much about why digimon were bothered by humans. Was there a human out there that she was supposed to be with? Did something happen, did she fail to protect them and was that why she had been reborn? She had a lot of questions, and the only thing she felt for certain, was that there was someone out there she was supposed to find.

As of the present time, Nimueh is only at her second baby stage, but the questions itching in her mind make her ever more impatient. Though the digital world was dangerous for such a young digimon, the Tokomon X would set off on her own, intent on finding this 'partner', or at least discovering what had become of them.

Personality wise, Nimueh is young and innocent, but also a sweet and kind digimon, who's happy so long as she can make her friends happy. She's got a particularly hopeful and optimistic attitude, not being one to focus to hard on the bad things in life or how things can go wrong. Though she might look like a marshmallow, she can actually be quite fierce when it comes to protecting those she cares about.
