    Clemens Nevan's Freeform
    History

    Clemens, who prefers "Nevan" to his first name, grew up with his older brother Mikhail, and were raised by his mother, grand mother, and great grand mother. Despite a good upbringing, neither brother could find a suitable career and shifted through jobs like clothing. Finally, Mikhail joined the military. A year behind him, Clemens also joined the branch.

    Injury
    While Clemens was still in bootcamp, word arrived that his brother was deploying to an active fighting zone. With his family matriarchs panicked that they might loose one or both their children, they unnerved Clemens. In a moment of utter weakness, Clemens staged an accident, falling from the third floor. He was separated from the military, but both his legs were broken and the prognosis for full mobility was slim. Wheelchair bound, jobless, and completely dependent on his mother and grandmothers, Clemens fell into depression.

    Digital World!
    "Digital World", the VRMMO, was a natural fit for him as an online escape with monsters. Not caring about maintenance times and hoping for a glitch that gave him free stuff, he remained online during the patch. His computer-inept grandmothers simply believed that his resulting coma was a medication issue and his body now resides at home, with a medical home care worker visiting the family. His mind and soul, however, are stuck in the digital realm. In the digital world, Clemens is no longer disabled, being a mix of residual self-image, digitization, and an alternate universe; he feels this is a pretty good deal.

    This is my first black character, please be patient. If you find something that I can do better, let me know and I'd be happy to absorb that! I am basing my character on the upstanding black citizens I have met in real life and whom you would never tell have a darker shade of skin. I know that racism exists and I do try to be racially sensitive. Also, please understand that anything that comes out of this character is not representative of any race or stereotype, they are merely his own thoughts and feelings as an individual.

    Gazimon's Freeform
    Personality

    On the outside, Gazimon is eager to please and surprisingly bright and cheerful for a virus type. However, it's just as much a front as Clemens' own personality is. Gazimon really only does as he pleases and has not even bothered to tell Clemens that he already has a name. He feels he is a strong, independent digimon who needs no man. He does not care to try to lead others towards evil, nor any other direction; he feels human kind left to their own devices can do all sorts of things ranging from very good to most horrible.

    Partnership

    Gazimon's partnership with Clemens is questionable at best. Deep inside, Gazimon seeks a form of redemption from the vile deeds he performed in his former and less-wise years. Knowing in his bones that Clemens was a digi-destined, he felt it might be fun to travel along for the ride - his own personal soap opera entertainment. Given this, Gazimon fully expects Clemens to come in contact with the digimon who his truly his partner any day now and spends a lot of time dreaming what he might do or say in such a situation. Gazimon has not realized that it is he who is Clemens' partner, much less be able to accept it.
